Jo-Ann
Valentine is a Colour Harmonics practitioner who has been involved in the study and research of colour light
therapy techniques for over twenty five years. She trained with Spectrahue Light and Sound and with Renee Brodie, author and pioneer in the field of healing with
colour and sound, as well as conducting her own research.
Jo-Ann has been a student of Laoshi Patrice Williams of CMAC for ten years and has attained the status of
Level III Niei Chi instructor under his tutelage. She has trained in the art of healing Chi Gung with Chi
Gung Master Dr. Effie Poy Yew Chow, director of the East West Academy of Healing Arts, San Francisco
and is also a certified Reiki practitioner of the Usui Shiki Ryoho system.
Colour Harmonics is the use of colour light to stimulate one¹s innate ability to self heal and evolve
spiritually. It works well with other healing modalities as well as being effective on its own. Colour is
introduced into the body by shining light through crystal lenses into the acupuncture points, onto reflex
zones, through the chakras or the axiotonal lines. Each of the colours has a specific psychological and
therapeutic aspect.
In her practice Jo-Ann incorporates the principles of colourpuncture, colourflexology, sacred geometry,
Taoist healing imagery, breathing techniques and visualization.
